011: Matted print or poster, 'Lovely Hula Hands'
Sheet Music Cover, ca. 1930. Ms. Aggie Auld, the hula dancer in the inset, was apparently a lady of great hula dancing talents whose merits reached heights where 'Hawaiian' songwriters would craft melodies to swoon along with. Nowadays, 'lovely hula hands' are advertised on the sports page in Honolulu, promoting a trade that has less to do with hula and more with skillful hands. Alas, we no longer live in the Thirties. Don't you long back to those days of innocense and true virtue?
