Ted Mundorff (1910-1969) designed cards for Hallmark in Los Angeles before moving to Hawaii around 1936. In Honolulu he started a career as painter, illustrator, and cartoonist. Mundorff earned respect as an artist whose floral Hawaiiana are today as widely sought after and collected as they were at the time of their creation.
