Bamboo curtains—also called beads door, or door beads—promote the tropical feel in your home by allowing a constant flow of fresh air while keeping flies out, at the same time producing a soft rain-like sound effect as the bamboo stalks "clang" in the air flow.

Hang it on the wall behind the bed, or cover up any area, such as a laundry room entrance. These bamboo doorway beads are made of hundreds of small hollow pieces of bamboo.
Strand count is between 125-135, depending on slight variances in bamboo thickness. 'Strand count' indicates the number of bamboo bead strands from one side of the curtain to the other. Measurements are 36" wide x 78" high (standard door size). These are handmade products, so consider that the length from curtain to curtain may vary somewhat if you plan to hang them side by side. Curtains come fully assembled and ready to hang if you provide 2 nails, or 2 screws, or 2 hooks (one or the other often hiding in a jar under the sink). A word about handmade items: due to the natural materials used, variances in length and thickness of the bamboo beads, paints used, or lengths at which these bamboo door beads are cut, chances are that no two are exactly alike. Also, keep in mind that ambient light conditions and computer monitor settings may have an effect on image perception. Lastly, bamboo curtains are made of loose hanging strands and have a degree of transparancy that varies based on the amount of light behind them. A dark closet will be obscured, but if you turn the light on in the closet the curtain will let you see through... view a sample.
