Spending a few nights at a historic hotel can be a great experience. All over the world there is a growing interest in these "hotels from the past," and wherever possible restorations are done at substantial cost. We offer a few of these hotels in Hawaii, most notably the famous "Pink Hotel," or "Royal Hawaiian" and the "Moana Surfrider" in Waikiki. Smaller ones like the "Lahaina Inn" in Maui, or the "Lanai Inn" on Lanai island tell a different story of Hawaii's colorful past.  

Cottages are IT!

We have located many quaint Hawaiian style island cottages where you'll find privacy and romance just off the beaten track, some by the beach. They will become your own little tropical "Hale" where you will feel at home and kick back 'island style.'

Bamboo houses in off-beat locations; Zen-style tea houses away from it all; cliff houses—you name it. We found them, and we LOVE them!

To really get the feeling of living in a different era treat yourself to a few days at one of "Waimea Cottages," which are rebuilt sugar cane plantation homes. Their setting in an ancient coconut grove on a black sand beach is simply spectacular! 

On occasion you may prefer to stay at a hotel closer to an airport; or centrally located in town; or to make use of certain amenities a hotel may offe, like when you travel on business, or when the kids demand a big pool! We have personally selected some fine hotels based on location, service, and price.
